Fairbanks Jr. in the LL Coop tweed

Here's DF Jr. on location for "Gunga Din" (1939) in the Sierra Nevada, wearing the Coop tweed in what looks like a DB odd jacket with the collar up. The red bandanna worn ascot-style under a crewneck sweater is a nice touch:

Here's one of his colleagues on that production in an interesting brown check raglan-sleeved coat putting the under-lapel button to good use--a useful detail for country odd jackets as well:

Astonishingly good looking picture of DF2, and what a nice DB coat. The scale makes all the difference.

You have seen the tweed on the other gent before, haven’t you? Influence of David was pervasive.

Alden would this scale be recomend for all checks houndstooth for exapmple?
