Manton, can this be worn with Morning or Evening dress as a pair of formal shoes?

I am probably more happy than you for these.
Finally someone saw boots as a dressing article as opposed to essential Brazilian rain forest gear!
How long is the wait these days?

as Manton mentioned above... not with evening wear. You need to take off the cap and you will be all set. Then use flat silk "ties" with these and you are way up there! But not that you really need it.

Have you looked at Vass's lasts, Manton? Some (I think particularly of the New Peter, R, 3636, and F) are very appealling in shape, too.

i have been considering getting some lace up boots for a while and your have pushed me in favor of getting some whether will or not i dont know but i am tempted! great pic's!

RWS, I love the F last (in theory) and have ordered a pair of boots on that last, for late summer/early fall delivey.
