Who makes good quality grenadine ties?
I have only tried those from Budd's.

I can recommend N&L. You can also purchase them online at N&L's website.
I would like to try Sam Hober at some point, but have yet to get around to it.
T&A also make excellent grenadines.
I have an excellent navy grenadine from Udeshi in London -- probably the best one that I own.

I saw some unraveled threads in my N&L grenadine tie -- after just ten or so wearings... Anyone else has similiar experience?

Andrey,
I have not seen a N&L grenadine tie in person, but from the photos on their website their grenadine ties looks very nice.
A real grenadine silk will have a perfect drape and knot because of the loose "gauze" type weave. So you do need to handle grenadines with care. As opposed to a good repp weave
which might take lots of wear and never show it at all.
With that said I have two grenadine ties which I wear very frequently and they do not show much wear.

I have several from a decade ago and no signs of wear after considerably more than ten wearings. They will snag if you catch them on something.
