Gian Decaro compared with Savile Row

Hello all,
I am beginning to build my bespoke wardrobe and am experimenting with different tailors. As I live in Seattle Washington, my options are somewhat limited-- I can either choose a top local tailor (such as Gian Decaro) or meet a tailor (such at Thomas Mahon, Henry Poole) in San Francisco during one of their regular visits.
I am curious as to how Gian Decaro's work compares with that of Savile Row-- both in terms of quality of construction and style. Gian seems to favor a more Italian style-- and am not sure how he would do with a more English look, which I prefer.
Regards
