Nice program you have. Very impressive. I was wondering if these are all people who you have relationships with or whether they are simply suggested merchants.

Certified Artisans Program
Alden wrote:The charter of the Certified Artisans Program is to direct thelondonlounge.net members towards best in class bespoke craftsmen and providers.

The Certified Artisans Program will identify and engage with qualified craftsmen whose ethics, talent and quality have been analyzed and certified.

Ethics are of paramount importance. The fundamental precepts of honesty, reliability and clarity reign supreme.

The craftsmen will be judged on their ability and willingness to communicate and listen. The quality of their cutting, sewing, and finishing as regards the product itself will also be evaluated and judged.

The degree to which the artisan and work correspond with fundamental values of traditional men's dressing as regards styling, choice of fabrics, mastery of a particular feature i.e. the natural shoulder will also be noted and catalogued.

Certificates will be printed and supplied to artisans for display in their premises.

Each craftsman will be visited on a regular basis. The status and level of certification will be updated and followed over time to insure adherence to the established criteria.
I copied this from elsewhere on this site. I suppose it answers your question?

Kind regards,
Don

It would be nice to have a list of all the artisans and their contact information. I can't find this anywhere.

Indeed it would make it much easier than searching endlessly.

I was able to locate that post, but plans are just that. They are plans. I was trying to inquire whether the plans had come to fruition, or whether this was more of a random recommendation list of good craftsmen.

The plans have indeed come to fruition, with more and more tailors, shoemakers, and shirtmakers listed. You may press "Certified Artisans’ Program" (under "Features", in the upper right-hand corner of each page; perhaps access is limited to some). Then, a full article for each class comments upon the individual makers.
