Bravo, Sir. I hope you are as pleased with the suit as you appear.
Interesting touch with the patch pockets.

Can somebody give me Frank's current contact info?
Also, I'm planning on getting some fabric this week. I'm a 36 short RTW. How much fabric do I need for a 3-piece suit? 4 yards? Less? Thanks.

Is there a pattern on the fabric? Will the coat be DB? What about a second pair of trousers?

Hell yes aportnoy that looks fantastic! I especially like the casual flair the flannel and the patch pockets give to it. This the type of thing I'd want for myself. Congratulations!
And the good news is it will look even better as you break it in!!

When I initially saw you mention your 'donkey' flannel I never could have imagined that the color was actually so nice. Maybe it's just the photo but it looks like a great brown-green-grey mix.
Looks great - the shoulders in particular. And I really like the way the width of the lapels works with the true 3-button.
Enjoy!

Get four to be absolutely safe. For a big plaid, get 4.5.

Very nice suit. I quite like the color of the flannel.
How was it working with Frank Shattuck?

Shattuck is a genius. Like most geniuses he can be temperamental but its a small price to pay for genius.
I like the placement of the buttons and the curve of the top outside pocket on the jacket-it would really show off the silk square.
I also agree that the color is lovely

Very impressive, aportnoy; if I may say so. Incidentally what was the weight of this flannel cloth and also the manufacturer?

Thank you aportnoy. How do you find the 14 oz weight given airconditioning, etc. Does it get too warm or is its use restricted to 3 motnhs of the year?
