So holland and sherry, scabal, etc all have websites, But where
can I go to look at suiting material in person? I've looked at a few
places around town, mostly they all carry womenswear material.
Are there any chain cloth stores I should be looking at?

It should be mentioned I'm in Canada. Victoria, B.C. to be exact. Though
I often go over to Vancouver.

Where does everyone else get their material? Or do they travel
enough to major city centres that this isn't a problem.

Tailors have books and you can look there.

Or, Holland & Sherry and other online sources will mail you swatches as you build a relationship.
