Want to add Atlanta, where to stay?

Gentlemen,
I am looking into adding Atlanta as a city to visit with my tailoring when I return to New York in January.
Can anyone suggest a suitable place to stay please?
Thanks,
Des Merrion.

Good suggestion...as long as price is no object. There are some nice hotels for less.
Also, if your customers are meeting with you during the work day, you may want to find out in which section of town most of them work. Atlanta is very spread out--probably four or five spots which are home to business. The Ritz in Buckhead wouldn't be "close" for someone who works downtown (drive-time during lunch hour), but then again, Buckhead is a nice area!
Again, the Ritz would undoubtedly be the choice place to stay (and most impressive-looking), but for about half the price:
Downtown: Westin Peachtree Plaza
Buckhead:JW Marriott Hotel Lenox Square
Midtown: Georgian Terrace

I gave the same suggestion of avoiding the Ritz in order to save money in the AAAC thread. But who knows...maybe Desmond likes to live it up

I met Terry Haste from Huntsman at the Ritz a few years ago. I was't impressed with the hotel. It's very expensive but not that great for the money. I like the Westin in Buckhead.

Not with 5 children and the wife to keep!
I'll save the money and buy you a beer instead!

Alright! Sounds like a plan!
