Dario Rodriguez question

I've read several posts singing the praises of Dario Rodriguez and his skill in copying trousers. Is he just as good of a measurer/stylist? I don't have any trousers that I really like yet and need someone to make me some from my personal measurements rather than an existing pair of pants.

Dario is terrific and I think he has good taste, if you send me a private message I'll talk to you about what you want and you can look at some of my things

I have only had him measure me and the results have been good - not great but good, in general. Compared to offerings in the $90 range, however, they're spectacular.

Cantab, what about Dario's trousers cause you to say they're "good, not great"? Not a needling question, just curious....

Good:
Sewing is quality - some handwork; nice, clean stitching. I haven't had a pair long enough to really say but they seem durable.
Not quite great: The fit is comfortable and better than RTW but could be better. I'd like a comfortable but trim pair that doens't look drainpipe and I don't think he is reallly set up to deliver a really perfect fit. I am going to send him some pants on order when they're done so he can copy them.
