Dear Sirs,

Having the pleasure of owning a 1963 British Racing Green MG Midget two-seater, it has become a natural extension of this interest to seek the best accessories to fully enjoy my drives.

In particular, I was wondering what advice I could receive from you gentlemen regarding driving shoes, something casual but high quality, comfortable and with rubber sole to use when taking the car out for a spin at the weekend or workdays alike.

The classis slip-on comes to mind, but also some comfortable, lace-up alternative would be interesting to consider. I can't think of manufacturers that would sell such footwear in a £100 price range, for you can either find very poor shoes priced at £40, or excellent Crockett and Jones priced accordingly, but I am looking for just a middle-priced alternative I wouldn't be worried to use in any condition and rough situation.

Thanks in advance for your help.
