Re-cutting a jacket

This is my first posting as a member. It is a pleasure to be part of the London Lounge and I look forward to learning from all of you.

I have two cashmere jackets made a couple of years ago; unfortunately, these jackets are now approx one size too large. I am located in the San Francisco bay area. Can anybody recommend a master tailor that can re-cut the jackets? From previous postings, I understand that re-cutting a jacket could be expensive. Paying up to $500+ is not an issue as long as the tailor can do an excellent job. Any help is appreciated.
