I am contemplating fall and my general state of financial impoverishment after my home purchase and renovation, and of course I thought a new pair of showxs would cheer me up!

I would like to discuss the low-rise boot. I looked at the pictures of the LL Limited Edition Chukka and I was surprised at how little like a chukka it looked and how much like a ...low-rise boot. Then I realized I do not know the precise definition of a chukka, I guess for me it is like obsenity, I know it when I see it.

So, I request examples of supurb low-rise boots. Very elegant but very out of fashion. The Halifax from EG would be an example, but is too robust for my tastes. It sort of looks like a hiking boot. Also, definitions of chukka anyone?

The carmina boot would no doubt be a welcome addition to the Breschian panoply. The rain last is seriously good-looking.
