I love Dresden, and have been making a pilgrage here at least once a year. Beautiful city.

I am Founder of the Lange Owners Group - we are a group of owners of Lange watches, who share common interests not only in watches, but other pursuits.

The event was to commomerate the launch of the Richard Lange Homage wristwatch by re-enacting the delivery of a silver deckwatch (last picture) to the Zepplin yards. Zepplin is now located in Friedreikshaffen, and only 3 exist in the world today - this one in Germany is the only one licensed to carry passengers, and two others used for scientific observation in South Africa and Japan.

Hereare two more picture lists:

In Dresden, I have had Doner rivalling the highest tier of Istanbul at

They make the pide after you order! Great festive and upbeat. Apple tea (complementary) if you arrive at the right time (new pot is brewed every 40 mins or so). Lines get long between midnight and 2 am. Not the kind of place to wear you finest but one of my favorite places to eat in Dresden.

Ah yes, I know this place...long queues.

My favourite restaurant in Dresden is the Carousel at the Bulow Residenz...where I usually stay. The Carousel has one Michelin Star, but the food is much more impressive than a single star would be...service is top rate. I had many great meals there. Last i was there was in Oct last year...didn't get a chance to dine there this time...and I hear the chef has left, and there is now a new one.
