A bit late, here it is my last coat. I know, bad pictures.

Nice coat indeed. Very Duke of Windsor with the four buttons. Lovely shoulders and gently suppressed waist.
I prefer it buttoned at the upper button, as in the first picture. The diagonal lapel line is, to my eye, very slightly too dramatic when you button it 'Kent' style. How do you usually wear it?

Giona - nice suit! Having seen photos of this suit, and having seen up close the suit of our mutual friend
(who has a light beige DB linen suit), I must say that I've become very partial to the "concept". Can you tell us more about the material?

Huzir, Yes I prefer buttoned upper. But you know, I'm italian ... I often forget to button
Benedict, the fabric is a beatiful 10z 60% mohair, I love it. The coat is unlined of course, natural shoulder.

Nice suit. Where did the cloth come from? Mohair is getting harder to find.

Hi Jona,
Very elegant, stylish coat and design.
This is not a suit is it? Just a sports coat, right?
What made you choose 4 button, not 6?
Is the coat 1/2 lined or completely unlined?
The coat seems to have a big overlap, wrap; is this your specification to the tailor? It looks quite elegant this way.
This coat is for Summer time?
Well done!

Hi uppercase!
Yes that's a sportcoat, designed to wear with off-white linen trousers. But I have some cloth left, I think I will do the trousers too.
4 buttons is my preference on DBs, as 2 buttons is in suits.
it's half lined, since the sleeves and canvas are lined.
Well, The overlap is not so big, indeed very is some tie space.
Yes, it's for summer!
Bravo Jona

Well done Jona. Just catching up on some of the posts and I find this lovely jacket. It turned out very well.
One of the nice things about the LL is the ability to see sartorial works from all over the globe..Japan, Italy, SR, NY...as long as the member continue to contribute.
Thanks for posting the pictures

I like that in the first picture, you have the top button buttoned while in the second picture, you have the lower buttoned; this seems to give a clearer image of the coat.
The four button look on this coat seems to suit you well, I think that six buttons on such a light colored cloth would be a bit overwhelming.
I like the shirt/tie combination with the coat, it looks good.
