I ended up getting two pieces of this english sik wool tweed. One with green and the other with orange. Got a suit made from the orange (two trousers, one plain front, one pleated - pictures to follow) and this raglan sleeve coat.

Please can you advise where to obtain quilted lining? I have been looking without success for a quilted lining for some tweed I want to have made into a car coat.

Terry Teplitz

P.S. The clothes are very smart looking. One of the nice things about the wool and silk blends is that the silk brings out the subtle colorings of plaids--not matte like all wook, and not bright like all silk. What mill made the wool/silk cloth?

Thank you for your kind comments. It was not typical for me to be so bold in my dresssing but just got tired of another blue/grey outfit. The merchant I purchased the silk wool tweed did not in the past keep record of the mill/distributor, just the country of origin. He sometimes get amazing fabrics. Infact the plaid blue linen

was also purchased from him.

My tailor is halfway around the world. I recall seeing some good quality quilted lining just last week, but I do not remember where! If I can find the source again, I shall PM it to you.
