I am thinking of using some H. Lesser 9oz tropical worsted for a completely unlined jacket. I know that fresco fairs well unlined, but do you think smooth worsteds like nailhead and herringbone are suitable for unlined jackets?

I have a RTW (Cerruti) tropical worsted, very light weight, completely unlined jacket and it wears very well.
