Hello

How many meters of cloth (prince of wales check) will i need for a single breasted 3-piece suit.
I think with the pattern i need more then usual.?
I am 1.80 m tall and have a weight of 80 kg.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Five should be ample, unless the plaid is really large, like the first LL Fox flannel.

Thank you manton

The check is smaller then the LL POW.
And i thought i would had more then enough with 4,5 meters.

You probably will. But personally, when I buy my own cloth for CMT, I always get five, just to be safe. It's not like the tailor can call the mill and just get more -- that is, if the cloth is sourced from a jobber or retail outlet.

I am about the same height, but a bit lighter, and have gotten by on my last POW 3pc suit with 4.5m with a quarter metre or so left over. That said, one should always ask the tailor who will be making the suit how much will be needed. DIfferent tailors have different practices, and some will require more cloth than others.

I will be on the secure side if i order 5 m. Better to much then to less.
Do you have a picture of youre 3-piece suit and a close up from the cloth. Can you send it to me?

Sorry, I'm on an extended trip away from where it's stored (too heavy for summer). I will try to find a picture of the cloth.

My LL POW Tweed is 4m, and its waiting for me for second fitting...and it is sufficient. I have a 3 piece made out, I am 1.78m, and 100kg.
