I'm a fan of the SB one button dinner jacket, myself. Personally, I think the Neopolitan look on a dinner jacket, (esp. DB) looks unappealing. As most of the times when a jacket such as that is worn involves sitting, I throw my support behind a relatively structured SB one button dinner jacket.

My choices: DB, 6X2, peak, rolled to bottom button; DB 2X1, shawl (lapels widen from top to bottom). One of each in black w/ grosgrain facings; one shawl in cream w/ grosgrain facings. No SB for me; I dislike cummerbunds and it is invariably too warm for a vest. I'd call the cut of jackets drape, though not as draped as the original 30s style. The trousers are high waisted, full cut, and double forward pleated. These suits are supremely comfortable and work well whether I'm sitting, standing, or dancing.
