Rubinacci "Magazine"

Having visited the Rubinacci shop in London Friday, the highlight was certainly picking up the two editions of their "Magazine" (I don't know what else to call it). In Italian and English, beautifully written, excellent photos, and scholarly articles on, e.g. linen production and weaving. The archival photos of famous gentlemen in rumpled linen suits was terrific.

Those members who share my compulsion to collect circulars of this sort should try to procure copies while they are still available. While I could not afford anything in this shop, I would love to have the opportunity to "subscribe" to this publication if they would ever offer the option.

Indeed, these are very interesting magazines with good articles and photos.

But, the last was published in July 2000 and as far as I know, Rubinacci has no plans to reintroduce the magazine.

It seems that these two issues of Rubinacci magazine are published online.

Go to http://www.marianorubinacci.it/main.php?lng=2, then click on the links in lower-right corner.
