July in Napoli

I will be traveling to Napoli for at least two weeks, attending a music festival. I would definitely love to have a LL gathering in Napoli if possible, not only to take advantage of the beautiful city but also an opportunity to share (in my case, learn) experiences in our sartorial ventures. Any recommendations on restaurants and shops to visit?

I will be in Naples on July 2nd, 3rd and 7th.
If that happens to line up with any gathering of LL'ers,
I will certainly join in.

Yes! Visit A. Matuozzo on Via Gramsci, after you’ve toured or conducted a fitting at your choosing, dine at Pizzeria Zi Tore. Then stroll along Rivieria Di Chiaia, or take the R3 shuttle to E. Marinella.

Around the corner on Via Calabritto you'll find Finamore and De L'Ero. More luxurious restaurants can be found in the Piazza Dei Martiri quarter; however, if you walk past the Piazza towards Via Filangieri, turn left onto the cobbled road where London House & Borrelli awaits you.

Take a digicam and panama lid.

tteplitzmd,

I will be in Positano and Ravello during this time also.
If you would like together for a glass of wine,
it would be a pleasure.
Drop me a PM.

I am in Naples from June 23-26.

Before that, I am in Ravello for a friend's wedding from June 20-23. It would be great to meet with LLoungers who are in the vicinity during that period.

This is pretty impressive number of Loungers going to Napoli and vacinity this Summer.

Hopefully we'll be getting some nice feedback on discovering the sartorial treasures of that city!

Does anyone have a master list of the sartorial 'must see' sites?

One (or more) of my fellow LL'ers going to Napoli has to check out
Salvatore Piccolo for bespoke shirts;
and E.G. Cappelli for ties.

Don't say I didn't give y'all an early "heads-up" on these makers.

Also, pizza on the Via Santa Lucia is as good as anywhere in Naples.

Has Cappelli only RTW ties or also bespoke?
And what's the address of Piccolo shirts??

Cappelli does both--he has some great stuff there.

Uppercase,

I am putting together a small list that is dictated to what I can see with two daughters in tow! I am afraid it will be a rather short list!

So I'm finally packing for Napoli. I will be there from July 2 till 21. Didn't someone made a list of must-visit craftsmen in Napoli? I'm certainly looking forward to visiting suit/shirt/shoes establishments, but is there any other branch of sartorial craft that I am missing here that is a must-see in Napoli?
