What are your restaurant recommendations when in Milan?

Besides the following, which shops are worth making the extra effort to visit:

Marinella
Nicky
Bestetti
Rubinacci
Caraceni
Brioni?

Thanks!

Actually, I don't think there is a Nicky retail shop. The address I got off the web appears to be an office. I could not find any Nicky ties in Milan and when I asked at a few shops, the salesmen said they had never heard of the brand.

FashionIcon, I did visit Siniscalchi at the suggestion of T4. I will post my impressions (which were excellent) when I have a little more time.

Thanks.

Did you take any pictures at Siniscalchi? Did you order some shirts? They are very expensive, aren't they?
I bought 3 Siniscalchi Shirts second hand and two of them are outrageous - ecspecially the cloth - they are made of cotton, very thin cotton - excellent for summer and it is as soft as silk...

I will post comments on Siniscalchi in the bespoke shirts section. Milan is a great shopping city, particularly if you are interested in the big brands. But among Marinella, Bestetti, and Siniscachi, there are alternatives to the fashion brands.

Tim, besides choosing the silk, what other things did you specify or change in your bespoke tie order vs. what is available in RTW? Eg, length, width, liner, etc. thanks.
