Bespoke shoes with a twist

Gentlemen, I wonder if you might help me. I am looking for a bespoke shoe maker to make a pair of dark green lizzard shoes like these below, which I found at the V&A museum in London. I have tried a couple of the traditional london makers but they are not too keen - I need someone who appreciates the sixties and can combine sartorial elegance with a hint of the dandy.

MAy I suggest Paul Davies a/k/a The London Shoemaker. He has had many years experience, most recently with Cleverly, but is now on his own. Last time I saw him in NY, he had a display of exotics (which I spent zero minutes looking at).

I would think Tony Gaziano, who can still be reached through Edward Green, would be happy to do them.

Else, Aubercy has a similar model in RTW in stingray, so I'm sure they could do one in special order in lizard, or in bespoke with the same squared toe as the picture you reference.

The style of shoe you want appears to me to be more of a slipper than a traditional gentlemans shoe, which would explain the reluctance of the traditional shoemakers. You may be better going to a theatrical shoe maker.
