RTW Model Reference

Dear Gentlemen,
I would like to propose we create a reference list of the different models offered by the best RTW manufacturers. Makers such as Oxxford, Kiton, and Brioni offer a wide variety of fits off the rack and a list of such models and where to get them would be a great resource.
For instance, I just tried on a Kiton "KB" suit in 40 regular, drop 8, which is a great model. Very high gorge, slimmer lapel, very high arm hole and quite fitted.
I would appreciate any further knowledge the club could provide.
Best,
James

Rather than a compilation of ready-to-wear models, I'd like to see good, clear, line sketches of different silhouettes. That would allow me to expand my perception of possible cuts beyond my present simplistic Huntsman-A&S-Naples axis and could be useful when I speak with tailors who are no more fluent in English than I am in their languages.

I mentioned to Oxxford that its website, which is being re-done, should include the drawings from its new stylebook showing the various, popular models.
I shall see its CEO next week, and I'll mention it to him.
However, nothing substitutes trying-on coats and determining which one suits you best.

Funny you say that, Mark. When I met with Alan Isaacs, I suggested the same thing. In many ways, line drawings are much more useful than photos for quickly understanding the basic differences between models.

Hear, hear!
I'll add my voice to the rising chorus when next I meet with Alan Isaacs.

Please send him my regards when you do. I never had reason to use his services but I liked meeting him very much and would certainly recommend him (and have) to Oxxford customers or potential customers.

That this topic discussing RTW styles is in the Bespoke Forum is one of the reasons that Mr Alden's decision to redesign the site is right.

I think you meant to post in the 'LL site redesign' thread.
