Shirt jackets and saharianas

I have a question regarding some of the shirt jackets and saharianas that have been shown on the LL recently. Should the sleeves be finished at jacket length (with a half an inch of cuff), or at shirt sleeve length?

My personal view would be have the sleeves finished at shirt sleeve length.

Simply because the safari coats are really so casual, so blousy that I feel that they should be less tailored, less self conscious and more akin to a roomy hunting coat.
