Does anyone know this wine? I brought it to a dinner and it was really tasty, but I don't know much about wine. It was on the top shelf at my local supermarket in Paris but was surprisingly inexpensive. Please enlighten or correct me.

My Pocket Johnson describes Cotes de Malepere as a rising star "vin delimites de qualite superieure" (which is just below Appellation Controle). Located between the midi and theSouth West near Limoux. Fresh and eager reds. No producers listed.

Obviously you made a find.
