Okay, I bought the EG Dundee and while pricey ($762) they fit the bill perfectly. I wore them in a downpour and they were watertight, plus they have a much more elegant last than the AS's I had to toss because they were too clunky. Very nicely finished too (no surprise there). By the way, I ordered the Newbury on the 606 RTW. I just didn't see the point of ordering something special order without having seen the last I am paying extra for. I am sure it will be perfect for me. This was the other AS shoe-type I had to toss because the last was just too ugly to wear.

Now, any other EG's you can recommend for "slop?" I am only interested in low-cuts.

What last did you get for the Dundee, and is that the same one pictured in the catalogue?

I do not know, but it looks pretty much like the picture.

I think that EG usually writes the last # inside the shoe in ink. If it's 606, then you can likely order more with confidence.
