Seattle--shirts

Gentlemen,
Can anyone direct me to a custom shirtmaker in the Seattle area? I've not had bespoke shirts made before and would like to work with someone who is willing to help me 'learn' through the process; that is, someone who will entertain my questions. I am aware of Gian DeCaro but don't know his expertise with shirts
I have a number of MTM Talbott shirts and they've been fine, really, but I was hoping for something a tad more special. My specific concern is that I've unloaded about 50 pounds and off-the-rack/peg shirts are too voluminous.
Thank you. I should add that I would be more than willing to travel to Portland, Vancouver BC or even San Francisco.
Words never heard in Seattle: You can't come in here dressed like that, Sir.

Thank you, sir. I was afraid someone would say that. I have wanted to have Mr. DeCaro make a suit for a few years. May as well get on with it.

Her website does not offer much hope:
www.reneebassetti.com/about.html. As luck would have it I'm at a function at the Fairmount (nee Four Seasons) this evening--I'll will see if she is still located there.

Rene Bassetti can be a very good maker. I have seen her (women's) shirts. If you can't locate her, call Damien or Nicole at American Sember (212-889-6188). They'll know where she is.

Thank you, Mr. Kabbaz. She is, indeed, still on the 12th floor of the Fairmount, the old Four Seasons Olympic. I picked up one of her cards from the concierge the other evening but have not had an opportunity to call.

JMurphy -
When you see Rene, I would be appreciative if you would give her my best regards.

Further to this, if you wish to make the trip up to Vancouver, I've found Chevalier on Seymour does excellent work. Minimum order of 3 or 4 depending on his mood.

Ceaton, this is very interesting. I had the (obviously mistaken) impression that Chevalier Creations specialized in things like designing wedding dresses. Can you tell us a little of how they operate vis-a-vis shirts? Are they fully bespoke or more MTM a la Jantzen? Do they have their own house style or can one come in with a design idea? What fabric choices are available? What are the waiting times and prices?

I have several suits and shirts from Gian. He is a very nice guy to deal with and builds wonderful shirts. The shirts wears well and his fabric choices are superb.
The suits are very well made. He has a great eye and I enjoy his very presonal realtionship with his clients. The shop can be a nice place to lunch on a busy saturday. Often several of his clients drop in with sandwiches and visit with him and whom ever is there. Most relaxed.
I go out of my way to visit him several times a year and have him make me a suit three to four times a year, as well as shirts to match the suits.
