Greetings all:
Cufflink79 here, with kind of a dumb question. Has anyone ever seen a photo of Prince Charles with his suit jacket off? I was woundering if he is a belt guy or a braces guy. If anyone knows please let me know.
Best Regards,

Back in his A&S days I do recall seeing a photo of him with his suit jacket undone which suggested that he favoured one of those "integrated" sort of belts, ie. made out of the same material as the suit and sort of integrated into the trouser waist (sorry - don't know correct description!)

I believe HRH wears belts exclusively with his suits. I have read he, like his father Phillip and great-uncle Windsor, dislikes braces.

Greetings all:
Thanks for tthe info fellas. Mr. Houndstooth the word or words you are looking for to describe the belt on Prince Charle's A&S suit pant is called a self belt or side straps. I am a big fan of those. Have one pair of Hickey Freeman dress trousers like that with deep forward pleats and buttons for braces (of course). Oh yeah, can't forget the cuffs on the bottom. As far my suits go, I have the tailor remove the belt loops from my ready made suits and wear braces with them.
Best Regards,
