Alden's Recommended Wardrobe: Shoe Problems

I have written before how Alden's recommended wardrobe had some interesting Platonic aspects to it, with the numbers of shirts and jackets and suits matching my own small wardrobe, which I assembled based on actual needs and my habits. I adjusted the list for my city's style (and my profession's). But I am still having triuble with the recommended shoe list.

His list is quite small. I would like to understand it better. First, are any of the shoes in the recommended list intended for rain or field use? What does "oxford" include? Where are monk shoes or slip-ons?

Shoes on the List

The list is, I bellieve, a recommended minimum list, so feel free to add those monk straps, slip ons, boots, etc.

Oxford, if I interpret traditionally, means shoes with a closed lacing system (contrast with Blucher or Derby - open lacing). My guess is the double-soled brogue would be the choice for rain or field use.
