Having lived for extended periods in 3 countries, I've long found moths to be particularly destructive here in the UK. As soon as Spring arrives, all my closets get a new set of moth killer tablets which, so far, have done the job very well.

Once moths have eaten part of your cashmere sweater, put it in a plastic bag and shove it in the deep freeze for a few days. That is the only sure way of dealing with the larvae.

I have used Zero In, they are just hung in your wardrobe and are very effective for 3 months. I always have one in my case when travelling and use them in hotel wardrobes. So far no damage. Available via Amazon. :D

Dry ice is said to be an effective, non-fragrant fumigator.

For ice chests or closets-- just choose your amount and allow a tiny bit of ventilation near the top.
