Gentlemen,
A few days ago Esquire launched "Esquire Classic" web-site, that has *all* published Esquire magazine issues scanned.
http://archive.esquire.com/issues?showdecades=true
The only downside is that it is not free: $5 a month.

Wow.
Great find.
Did you subscribe ??
Is it worth it?

Yes, I subscribed (even with current state of our national currency I still can afford five bucks
)
Is it worth it? -- for some even a single picture like
this worth the asked price. For others, a penny is too much for a non-physical item.
Technical implementation (my biggest concern) is very, very good. Navigation is excellent -- you can browse each issue page-by-page or you go through a list of articles accompanied with pictures and small synopsis.
Two small downsides are lack of dedicated iPad app and ability to save articles for off-line viewing.
But in general, it is an excellent work, with a lot of effort and care behind.
...and yes, all the fashion drawings are included.

Gentlemen, the first month of the subscription is for free. Do some illustration binging at no cost and decide for yourselves whether it´s worth while keeping or not.

I've signed up but the navigation is not very good... Among other things, the zoom seems fixed on two settings: whole page (minuscule) or HUGE.

Dear Luca,
I have noticed a difference in the quality of the navigation, not at the Esquire site itself, but depending on whether I use Safari (better in this case) or Explorer (worse). I know the site is the same, but maybe there´s something with the settings of the browsers.

Good point, thanks. I've been using Mozilla. I will try using Chrome, this evening.
