Heavy cashmere for a sportcoat

I am looking for a really thick and chunky cashmere fabric to get a sportcoat tailored out of it. It should be light to medium gray and not completely solid as it is going to be a rather casual jacket, I was thinking of a heavy flanell or something tweed-ish. Since the coat is going to be completely unstructered and unlined, I would like the fabric to be rather heavy, at least 400g/m.
Thanks in advance,
J.

Dear J,

it might be useful to decide if you want cashmere or flannel or tweed first. I would recommend a discussion with your tailor and also inquire about the virtues of a good lining.

Cheers, David

I meant using a fabric similar to flannel or tweed but made out of cashmere.

Dear J

I see. The bad news is that we just had something that might correspond to your search in the cloth club: http://www.thelondonlounge.net/forum/vi ... ere#p71057

If you are lucky, there might be left overs...
