Prince tweed coat

Finally, I took delivery of the coat. I noticed a fil rouge in every LL cloth which I was lucky to subscribe: they reveal a different aspect of themselves every time you look at them
Simple cloth they aren't

These are really great compliments, coming from you. My taylor loves his craft, he has to be happy with a coat to let it go.
It's a pleasure and a privilege to take part in his work, sharing ideas and usually having great faith in his art... and finally you even get a coat

That is what tailoring should be, in a nutshell.
Working together. And your admiration and respect for your tailor and you two working together to make a coat that is his as much as yours. Having a coat made should be an adventure. I love the word "Charm". An endangered word.
Your coat has charm.

Could you perhaps let us with (much) more inexperienced eyes know what in particular you liked so much about this coat? Are there particular elements you love, or is it more the whole of the jacket? I just see a beautiful coat, but I am unable to pin down exactly what makes it so, and even if I did I am not sure I would be able to articulate it.
And to screamingmarlon, I can only offer my gratulations on a wonderful piece of clothing

Soft, supple, subtle, unforced craft of hand.Nothing forced. No speed bumbs for the eye. Subtle fitted sleeve and soft sleeve head. Look at that sleeve. A content extremely well placed collar. Fine shoulders. Point to point what it should be technically and no more. No statement made. No exaggeration to make a statement or to say "I was here". It is only what it should be. And that at the very least. The customer is in there just as he is. The unforced tailoring. The self assured customer allowing the tailor to do this..All make for a subtle humble unforced and..in the true meaning of a much over used and misused word.."Elegant" {form following function} coat. A "Charming" coat.

I agree the coat looks great. Is there some reason why posters on this forum often do not identify their tailors when they are displaying their clothes?
