Linen for summer pants

I'm considering on buying some white linen fabric for summer pants but I don't know how much that kind of fabric should weigh. I'm sure many of you have opinion on this matter and now I'd like to hear them.

In my experience white linen fabric tends to be a bit transparent which isn't a desirable feature on pants. Do you think heavier linen is more opaque?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Tommi

You need a linen in the 400 gms weight to wear as trousers. A few merchants carry this quality of linen (W. Bill, Scabal, Harrisons etc.)

Cheers

And hopefully similar linens in RAF blue brown are on their way from the CC, no?
