Jarvis and Hamilton?

I recently acquired a lovely top coat off eBay. It's a classic 6x2 DB with full bodied lapels fashioned from a mid-gray herringbone fabric that appears to be cashmere judging from it's softness and luster. According to the only label, as you can see on attached photo, the coat was made by Jarvis and Hamilton, Savile Row. I had never heard of this firm and my inquisitiveness was immediately roused. They are quite elusive on the interweb, though, as they have no web-page, however, they still seem to exist according to various London registers. Does anyone know anything about them?

By the way, the coat is not dated. Seller suggested 30'ies based on styling and detailing, but I have no idea, and to be honest it seems somewhat unlikely as the coat is virtually immaculate.

Lovely.

They are still around and operate out of the tailor's den at LG Wilkinson (along with AJ Hewitt and Denman & Goddard). And by "they" I mean Mr. John Reed - he is J&H, and now in his eighties, a Savile Row legend.
