First, I am sure of the accessories: a casual Chapman, Brady or Billingham bag is necessary ( http://www.thelondonlounge.net/forum/vi ... =4&t=10137 ) and I like loafer shoes. Pls. post me pictures (a so called lookbook) how you can imagine such a sporty outfit for inspiration. Also, with or without a blazer, it's so hot out now!

The second question, where can I dress up - I guess MTM is fine with casual - for, let's say the price of brands like Hugo Boss or Lasocte but more personalized? Are there any brands or tailors who can do this?

What fits me? Muted colors, Italian style blazer and slim fit shirts:

Nice art! But. I feel myself younger than the folks on the pictures. Perhaps it's a generation thing. And how about real photos? And who will make cool clothes for me for a reasonable price? :)

Int'list, you asked for INSPIRATION. If you want copy-paste examples, we don't stock any.
The gentlemen (more than folks) in the art pictures are excellent inspiration for many, trust me - but, of course, you need a little bit of vision to update, actualize, personalize what you see there. The raw material is first class: the cuts, the colours, the combinations, the style, how they are worn... What you do with it is up to YOU!
There is also some reading to do, besides pictures. Take your time, there is no shortcut to developing Style...
Lookbook?! - what an unhappy fashion school notion. Lookbooks sell ready-made clothes. Style is personal. If you want MacDonald's, go for it. This is not a restaurant, it is a kitchen. We like to get dirty: we get our hands soaked in dyes and our fingers cut in shears and our vision blurred in combinations. But we enjoy it and never have to eat frozen pizza...

What's so difficult about being casual in summer? OK, so you need a bag (perhaps you carry too much with you, but that is none of my business) and you like loafers. Get a few pairs of linen trousers made (high waist, full cut, comfortable and ventilated - get them bespoke, don't MTM if you don't have to for economic reasons), a couple of (linen or cotton) shirts (with sleeves rolled up if worn without a coat). What do you want more - colours, patterns, combinations? - look for INSPIRATION in those excellent threads, you'll find a thousand good ideas.

Find a tailor near you and work with him to develop your wardrobe. He'll be cheaper than big names (not irrelevant to you, I understand), readily available, more closely related to you. It will be a pleasure to substitute a fitting and a discussion of your new ideas for a buying session around the shops.

Just the absolute necessities. Just like your fellow moderator Alden. But it's our business. :)

Two of my opened topics were deleted not even moved to another sub forum. May I ask why? Thanks.
