Lawrence and Foster out of business?

Hello,
I've been trying to get in touch with
http://www.lawrenceandfoster.co.uk for the last couple of months and they haven't responded to my e-mails nor my telephone calls. I'm a previous customer who has ordered three flat caps in the "Alden" shape. I was about to order some more for the summer made in linen and wanted to know how I would go about with sending them the cloth and how much.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with them?
Thanks

Try calling them: 01977 604440
The number was in small print at the bottom of the site, there is a fax number as well.

I tried calling them for a week, they never answered!
Feels like the fax won't help after all this trouble. This is seriously frustrating.

Thanks for the info, though I had it already. I just feel like I shouldn't have to write a letter when they obviously offer e-mail service.
This is just highly unprofessional, my hope was that they might have changed the e-mail address or something but that is obviously not the case.
Has anyone ordered from them recently?

I never heard of them before your post but in my opinion if you send a letter in "accuse reception" they won't be able to claim they didn't get it. It might well be the only option. I often send e-mails that are just ignored, it's annoying but that's the thing about electronic communication, e-mails carry less weight and value than letters.
Would you like recommendations for a new hatter? I have some Lock and Co caps and they're amazing!

I've had some Lock & Co caps but switched to L&F because they were too skimpy. I prefer the style The Duke of Windsor wore, L&F offers that shape under the name of Alden.
It's a great cap, unfortunately their services are not.

Hm, I see, perhaps you could ask Lock and Co to adapt to your needs? I am sure they can accommodate you!

Have been having the same problem for a month or so - no replies to anything.
Does anyone know anything?

Hmmm, an unfortunate death perhaps?

Is there any reasonable alternative to get such a cap?

Those aren't bespoke though, but if you go into the store to buy them they will enlarge as needed to ensure a perfect fit. Otherwise you could go bespoke.

Thanks, but that's a lot of money, and would they use other cloths than tweed, eg a heavy linen?

Hanna Hats has been great, in my experience, and will use customer-provided cloth on request.
