I noticed that you chose a shawl collar for your DB overcoat with the fur collar. The Windsor and Esquire version have a storm collar (what the Italians call doppio uso. What we your thoughts in doing so?

I am thinking of doing the gray herringbone with a fur collar but with the storm collar. That being said, we have just had some massive "anti-fur" riots and protests here in Europe from the animal right's crowd. Speaking of which I note with sadness that two of the greatest fur shops in the world, formerly on the Faubourg St. Honore have closed.

The protesters looked very well fed. They were upset about seals having their necks broken with a stick by hunters for their fur. I admit it is a messy business at best but anyone who has seen farm animals slaughtered will rightfully argue that these animals suffer much more than the seals. But a seal is cute and a hog is not. And to keep themselves fat and moving about to protest the PETA crowd must consume conspicuous amounts of pork!

Cheers
