Which tailors do you use?

I've seen Dege mentioned in LL a respectable number of times.

What are they good for, if I may ask respectfully?

Dege, Gieves & Hawkes and Ede & Ravenscroft. Thinking of trying an A&S DB later this year.

I use them for shirts.

They are also known for sporting and military clothes. In keeping with this heritage, their city suits have a bit more shape (although not necessarily more padding) than other houses'.

I have a cousin who uses Dege and the results are very good. He likes the fellow that travels to NY and receives well fitted garments that are classic. Like Poole, never fashion forward. Although I do not have personal experience with these groups, I regard Dege and Poole as occupying the middle of the SR spectrum running from Huntsman (highly structured) to A&S (very soft).

Granted, this is very simplistic.

2. Richard Anderson (Savile Row, London) - trousers this month?, jacket this year?, suit this decade?

Meyer & Mortimer (aka Jones Chalk & Dawson), 6 Sackville Street. The cutter who takes care of me is Mr. Paul Munday. M & M have recently joined the Savile Row Bespoke Association. They are military tailors, hence a shaped silhouette. Four suits so far, with a navy blazer and gray trousers on the way.
