What do you ask your tailor?

Looking at your list, here are few more points you may wish to consider:

Coat
- number of vents?
- straight or slanted outside pockets?
- outside ticket pocket?
- sleeve lining same as body lining?
- I usually put the mobile phone in the inside ticket pocket of my coats

Trousers
- side pockets straight or slanted?
- turn-ups or plain finish?
- any idea of width at bottom?
- side buckle adjusters or Daks (I think that's the correct spelling) belting?
- buttons on waistband for braces?
- zip or button fly?

I would make sure that, in addition to the face-to-face discussion, you email or handover a copy of details to your tailor. Best to be business-like and orderly than have a 'surprise' waiting for you when it is too late. I would advise sticking to your tailor's default SB cut & style for the first suit - you don't need the distraction of wondering if the 'quarters' are cutaway enough when the most important thing is the fit of suit on you.

I currently have a leather pouch that attaches to my belt at my left hip, but it does rather influence the way my cloths hang. Perhaps a pocket in the Jacket?

I will take a copy of this list with me when I visit the tailor and yes I did see the Permanent Style blog and it has influenced the date of my trip to Graham Browne.
