The finished shoes look wonderful, Rolf. Thanks to you and Tony for the sneak preview at our last meeting in London.

Like le.gentleman, I'm also curious about how best to care for pigskin shoes. Do you use ordinary polishes, or do they need something special?

Just picked up my shoes from Tony earlier today.

They are seriously nice. :D :D :D

Rolf

For care, I’ve got Saphir “Crème Univerelle – Leather Balm” (Cleans, Nourishes, Protects) and gives a nice shine as well. That should just do the job.

My own first shoes from Tony arrived today. Nothing so exotic as yours, but also very nice.

Now that you've had them for a week, Rolf, what do you think of them? How is the fit, and how does the pigskin wear?

I’ve only worn them twice. The fit is snug but not tight (I can’t get into them without a shoe horn, but I’m not supposed to). I believe with wear they will just ease that little bit.

Why don’t you ask me in five years time?
