I take the liberty of resurrecting this thread (which I am not clear how I found, but there you are) to suggest some other makers of tunic shirts for your consideration. Although I have not the experience of New and Lingwood's product to enable me to make comparisons, I have been pleased with my tunic shirts bought from T.M. Lewin. Whilst I know that not everyone is impressed with the quality of T.M. Lewin manufacture, at an average of £32.50 a shirt I feel that they strike a good balance between price and quality. The only drawback I would highlight is that, unlike most shirtmakers, they only supply one matching collar, not two. A friend of mine who is an Anglican priest wears these in lieu of clerical shirts and swears by them. Unfortunately they do not generally sell by mail-order (although I have made arrangements to do so via their customer services dept. and the Chancery Lane store).BirdofSydney wrote:Does anyone have experience with New & Lingwood's neckband shirts with the detachable collars?
... if anyone is familiar with N&L, or can recommend another shirtmaker that does similar work, I'd be most grateful. International shipping is a plus, but I hope to go to London within about the next 12 months, so it's not a must.
