I am very happy to announce the first inductees into the Certified Artisans Program for 2006: Mr. Edwin Deboise, tailor (Cumbria and London); Mr. Raphael Rafaelli, tailor (NYC); Mr. Adamo De Togni, tailor (Verona); Mr. Dimitri Gomez, bottier (Paris.)

Mr. Deboise, formerly of Anderson & Sheppard, is well known to a group of our members who have benefited from his visits to the USA. Recently, Deboise made a beautiful 3B suit from a Prince of Wales londonlounge limited-edition cloth. The suit can be seen on fellow CAP member, Tom Mahon’s blog (www.englishcut.com.)

Mr. Rafaelli is a New York City based tailor whose recent work with “spalla camicia” has earned great reviews from our members. It is based on the members’ recommendations and a set of excellent photos that Raphael has been admitted to join his NY based confreres: Messieurs Nicolosi, Logsdail and Shattuck.

Adamo De Togni is a master craftsman from the beautiful city of Verona. He has been of service to a group of londonlounge members in Europe and the USA who have recommended him very highly.

Dimitri Gomez is a world class shoemaker whose works can be seen at his atelier in the Crockett & Jones shop in Paris. A recent entry in the Dressing forum of the LL has pictures and a profile of this skilled artisan.

The photos don't seem to be up yet. Eventually, I believe that you'll find them here:

Congratulations to everyone. Of the newest members of the bespoke Mt. Olympus listed above, I only have personal experience with Raphael who most definitely qualifies as one of the very best tailors I have had the good fortune of bespeaking a garment from. Welcome gentlemen!!!
