Hi,

Firstly, I'm soon travelling to Shanghai and was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent tailor there to make suits/shirts at reasonable prices?

Also, I recently stumbled upon a gorgeous Dormeuil purple stripe suiting fabric and would like to get a suit made in it. However, I'm not familiar with Dormeuil cloth. What is it like in comparison to H&S is it comparable/better on average etc?

I recommend WW Chan & Sons, they have an outpost at the Hilton there, but their non hotel location is where the work is done. The owner is frequently at the non Hilton location. I have used Chan for more than 15 years with very favorable results. re: Dormeuil vs. Holland & Sherry, it really depends on the specific cloth, they are both 800 pound gorillas in the worldwide cloth business.
