He always looks good, but this one actually overcomes the choice of color: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5t2A1cfu9E

A very short man. Mid-80s, I actually passed him on the sidewalk outside the Burlington Arcade. A fan had stopped him, and he was being very friendly.

Classic stuff. Because of the recent enforced "shelter in place" situation, I started watching "Porridge", with Ronnie Barker. You would never believe it was the same fellow as the Ronnie Barker in this clip. The Two Ronnies was such gentle humor. I remember the first time I was to Paris, I desperately wanted there to be a street name sign "Rue de Remarques".

Love, love, love Corbett's pink jacket.

P.S. I'm using an application (which requires a subscription) called "BritBox" to watch "Porridge" and other classic U.K. TV shows. If you are an expat like me and have fond memories of some of the TV shows we watched growing up, I highly recommend it. I was heavily influenced as a teen and young man by Robert Hardy's tweedy wardrobe in "All Creatures Great and Small". I have looked for a hat like his for 45 years, but never found just the right one. But his tweed jackets are a total inspiration.

+1 for All Creatures. Hardy/Siegfried has always been an inspiration for me for country clothes, and for dressing pocket hanks with complete abandon. In the early years Tristan had some excellent trousers and classic short-waisted Fair-Isle sweaters, too.
