Taller, It will surely be brown shoes, perhaps the EG dark oak,for me with this shade of blue. About the only exception might be if I were attending some very solemn affair following a day at the office. I only have two pair of black shoes and reserve them for the most formal occasions.

Rodes, a wise choice! I own only one pair of black shoes. :) And for the reason Hectorm mentioned: I need to downgrade formality. At the place I work, a shabby nonchalance (amongst the men) is the norm. Only a minority wears a jacket; suits are only worn if appropriate for outside meetings.
And why wouldn't I want to look like a Ralph Lauren model, David? Hell, I'm only 62!
