Daks Tops - Hot weather comfort
Hi David, I assumed that the extended front band functions like an adjuster because of the second button there. So I was wondering how that would work without the front being pulled off center.
Dear TK,
I understand, it looks like. At this point, I would assume that this second button is a caprice by Mr Luca Rubinacci. There is no elastic for sure
Rubinacci trousers traditionally come with side adjusters. There would be no point making a third adjuster in the front. But I will inquire and might get back to you in a few weeks.
cheers, David

Dear TK, davidhuh,
It has always been my understanding that the second button up front is to provide a kind of balance in the look of the band's ending, so without any functional purpose, but I'm happy to be further educated.

For side-adjusters I'd stay away from elastic - it deteriorates, and all the more so in hot and humid conditions. Perhaps D-buckles are a better idea: infinitely adjustable and lasting forever.
Please do let us know David if you find out something more!davidhuh wrote:Dear TK,
