Keep in mind that its also a very old suit - Hitchcock mentions that it was made by A&S for the Prince in the mid-90s.

Or should it hug the collar firmly excepting vigorous motion? I've been wondering about that for a bit. I have a coat that fits reasonably well, it doesn't 'hug' the collar tightly in an embrace, but it 'touches' the collar. However, when one moves a little, a collar gap forms, albeit a small one. Is this to be expected?
No expert here, however, my coat from A&S do magically hug at all times, I can do a crazy dance in it, pause, and it'll still be hugging.

My personal preference is to have a very smooth back, without much 'wrinklings', my first A&S coat have failed to achieve that somewhat, despite having them saying this is one of the elements that they are known for (i.e. a nice & smooth back of the coat) when I ordered it. The shoulder was also off, it has a ridge on both sides, which I thought was subpar, given most RTW coats can surely get it right. Anyway, since I dont live in London anymore, I communicated to them via email, and they say bring it back in and they will look at it. I hope they can fix everything.
