Do let us know, zjpj; for I think that Vass will make only on their stock or slightly modified lasts, save in cases of feet impossible to accomodate with such a last.

Nope, I haven't already been fitted for my size, and Vass wrote back and said:

"We usually do not do mail order service
because it is quite risky to buy handmade shoes without trying them -
especially if you have wide feet and a high arch. Our P2 last is very
similar to the left one on the photo but I cannot give you an advise on the
size! I understand how much you like nice shoes so I am really sorry to
disappoint you with my answer..."
