THE VALUE OF YOUR V ZONE

A TRUE TESTED TREND Approved by TRUE, the Man's Magazine

The intense, dark-haired young man on
the opposite page is selling. He might be
selling a patented gunsight to a
manufacturer of small arms.
Or selling insurance to a prominent local banker.
Or clinching the sale of a 1951 automobile. But
he isn't; he's selling himself.
He's selling himself into a new job. Not that
he's out of work--far from it. He has a good job.
But he's looking for a better one. And he's going
to get it, too. He doesn't believe that old saw
about not judging a book by its cover. He knows
the cover has to snare the reader before the guts
of the book can tell the story.
To snare his man, he has a carefully-groomed
V Zone--the area of apparel which includes tie,
shirt, collar and lapels. His shirt is neat, his
collar fits well, his tie is picked to go with the
particular suit he is wearing. And his knot is
correct for his collar.
In your daily person-to-person contacts, you
lead with your V Zone--it's the first area of
apparel your boss, your customer or your client
notices about you. It is the focal point of your
appearance. A neat V Zone is a matter of con-
sidered choice of apparel and care in putting on
the clothes and in wearing them. On the follow-
pages are True Tested Trend suggestions to
improve your appearance.

Excellent summing-up! Thanks for taking the time to post it.
